Daphne March is an indigenous entrepreneur that grew up in Gillams, Newfoundland and Labrador who specializes in hospitality, health and wellness. She is yoga teacher, very passion about her studies in addiction and recovery and all connection to mother nature. She owned and operates four- star Tourism accommodations, R&RHouse in Georges Brook, NL. Also founder of ShaMaSha, arts and holistic healing retreats project currently under development. In this work, she continues to draw on her own cultural roots and the understanding she gained from her parents. Her dad, Cyril March lived off the land and her mother Cassie March owned and operated March Store In Gillams. Daphne organizes mediation, culinary, and outdoor experiences to help her guests reconnect to nature.

As member of Board of Director of Indigenous Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism Association. Daphne as contributed to the development of five- year to preserve, support, and promote indigenous culture as a tourism asset in the province. Daphne is active as a community advocate with First Voice, and volunteers with First Light and Food Producers Forum in St. John’s. Also she is a member of First Nation Of Canada.
